Terms of Use
Last updated: October 22, 2026
In short: Kids Planner is a digital chore and allowance planner for families. It records values and payments, but it does not move real money. Your family's data is yours, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are and what these Terms are
Kids Planner (“Kids Planner”, “we”) is provided by GLDN Tecnologia LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ no. 69.408.217/0001-31. These Terms of Use govern the use of the kidsplanner.com.br website and of the app available at kidsplanner.com.br/app (the “Service”). By creating an account and checking that you have read and agree, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. What the Service does (and does not do)
- It lets parents and guardians add children and daily, weekly and extra chores, set values, close weeks and record allowance payments.
- It offers kid mode, where the child checks off finished chores, and money-skills features: a piggy bank with jars (spend, save and give), goals and achievements.
- It sends service emails, such as invitations, password resets and a weekly summary for parents and guardians.
- It does not move money. Values, jar balances and payments are only records to help the family stay organized. Kids Planner is not a bank, payment institution, digital wallet, broker or financial advisor, and nothing in the Service is investment advice. The real money stays with your family.
3. Account and access
- During the beta, access is by invitation. To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password safe. Everything done with your account is your responsibility; tell us if you suspect misuse.
- An account belongs to a family. The guardian who created it (the owner) may invite other guardians, who then get access to the family's data.
- Kid mode keeps a device restricted to the child's planner, and leaving it requires a guardian's password. It is up to the guardians to decide on which devices to turn kid mode on.
4. Children
The Service is meant for parents and guardians; a child uses it under their supervision and authorization. Only a guardian adds a child, and we recommend entering just a first name or nickname. By adding a child, you declare that you are their parent or legal guardian and consent to the processing of their data as described in the Privacy Policy, which also explains how that consent can be reviewed or withdrawn.
5. Beta, plans and billing
- Closed beta: access is by invitation and there is no charge during the beta. Each family's access period is stated in the invitation.
- After the access period: without an active plan, the account becomes read-only: you can still look at your history, but you cannot record new data. Nothing is deleted because the period ended.
- Paid plans: besides the free beta access, Kids Planner offers a monthly or yearly subscription, with up to 5 children per family. The prices, the billing period and the terms are the ones shown on the subscription screen before you subscribe, and nothing is charged unless the family's main guardian chooses to subscribe. Subscribing is done by the main guardian.
- Payment: charges are made by credit card, on a secure Asaas page (Asaas Gestão Financeira Instituição de Pagamento S.A., CNPJ 19.540.550/0001-21), our payments partner. Card details and the documents required for payment are given directly to Asaas; Kids Planner neither receives nor stores them. Asaas is subject to its own terms and privacy policy. You can change your card whenever you want, under Account, also on a secure Asaas page.
- Automatic renewal: the subscription renews by itself, every month or every year, on the card you provided, until you cancel. If you subscribe during a free trial, the first charge happens on its last day, and you do not lose the days that remain.
- Unpaid charge: if a charge is not paid, we notify you by email and keep your access for 3 more days, so you can change your card or settle the payment. After that, the account becomes read-only, with nothing deleted, and goes back to normal once payment is settled.
- Cancellation and withdrawal: the main guardian can cancel at any time, on the Account screen of the app, with no penalty.
- Within 7 days: under the right of withdrawal in the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (art. 49), anyone who cancels the family's first subscription up to the 7th day after the first payment (inclusive) receives a full refund of the amount paid, and access to the paid plan ends immediately. The refund is requested from Asaas automatically when you cancel; how long it takes to show on your statement depends on the card issuer and can reach 10 business days.
- After 7 days: the plan remains valid until the end of the period already paid and nothing more is charged. The amount for the period already paid is not refunded, and you can subscribe again whenever you want. Renewals do not reopen the 7-day period, which applies only to the family's first subscription: later subscriptions, for example after a refund or a cancellation, follow this rule.
- Disputing a charge: if you dispute a charge directly with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback) and the amount is returned by them, access to the paid plan ends and future charges are canceled. Before disputing, talk to us at contato@kidsplanner.com.br: we usually solve it faster.
- Price changes: they will only apply to future renewals and will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
- Beta courtesy license: families in the beta group receive a courtesy license of 1 year of free use, counted from the day the invitation is released. When it ends, the account becomes read-only (nothing is deleted) until the main guardian subscribes to a paid plan. Other invitations or promotional plans follow the conditions stated in the invitation.
6. Beta phase
The Service is in a closed beta. It may have bugs, change, and be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. Features may change or be discontinued; if that affects a paid plan, we will let you know in advance. We love your feedback and may use it to improve the Service, with no obligation to pay for it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate the rights of others;
- try to access other families' data, break in, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, overload or interfere with the Service;
- use bots, automated scraping or reverse engineering, except where the law allows it;
- share your account with anyone who is not a guardian of the family, or add other people's data without permission;
- enter offensive or unlawful content, or sensitive data (such as health information or documents), in free-text fields.
8. Your data and our intellectual property
The data you enter (chores, values, payments, goals and other records) remains yours. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive, free license needed to store it and show it back to you in the Service. The software, the “Kids Planner” brand, the design and the texts of the Service belong to us or our licensors, and these Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
9. Availability and liability
- We work to keep the Service secure and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially during the beta. Keep your own copy of anything important to you.
- The Service is an organizing tool. Decisions about values, payments and your children's money education are entirely yours.
- To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss caused by factors beyond our reasonable control (such as internet, device or third-party failures). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that the law grants to consumers, or liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service whenever you want and ask us to close your account and delete your data by writing to the contact below.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or put the security of the Service at risk, giving you notice whenever possible. If we shut down the Service, we will give reasonable notice and a chance to request a copy of your data.
- When an account is closed, we handle the data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For relevant changes, we will notify you by email or inside the app at least 15 days in advance. If you do not agree with the new version, you can close your account before it takes effect. The date of the latest update is at the top of this page.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute arising from them will be heard in the courts of the consumer's place of residence, without prejudice to trying to settle things amicably first.
